Los Angelinos know that the beach at Long Beach is long. Nobody had to tell them that. And it has a waterfront full of Segway touring opportunities. Water features, beach features, bridge features--all the things that make a pleasant visit. Plus a whole waterfront village where you can buy a gelato, langostino fajita and a mocha frappe all from the same credit card. So off we went.
The tour zipped around the harbor and crossed several bridges.
Passing bicyclists cordially reminded us to get the %$#@&! off to the side. (That from a bicyclist doing 12 mph in an 8 mph zone...)
Even the whales wanted to ride.
Burning rubber without burning bridges.
Max slope: 20 degrees. It takes trust.
Only one comes with a chauffeur.
Off they rode, into the sand set. |
